Parsonage began in Lovettsville, Virginia in 1997 and is currently being run by the founders daughter, Molly Darr, a now fourth generation soap maker!!! In 2025 Molly said goodbye to her position as forest health entomologist at Washington State University, and moved back to Virginia to continue the family business. Molly and her Father share a passion for creating sustainably-produced products with scientifically backed ingredients designed to bring intention and calm to your daily personal care rituals. Their goods are handmade from start to finish using original recipes. The ingredients and packaging are carefully selected to maintain a minimal ecological footprint. The soaps, lotions, candles and sprays contain no animal fats and are scented with plant essential oils or cosmetic grade, phthalate-free, naturally derived fragrances. The vegetable oils are non-GMO certified, and our sustainably produced palm oil is RSPO certified.
