Clever Beast Botanicals was started by Chris and Carlene Thomas in early 2021 as a vehicle for their love of regional plants and their many uses. Alcoholic beverages and perfumes have been the best way to capture and share the flavors and aromas of these unique plant blends. While Carlene’s grandfather started one of the first vineyards in Loudoun County, VA in the 1980’s and sat on the Governor’s Virginia Wine Growers Advisory Board, it was never the initial plan to move Clever Beast Botanicals into the wine space. Simply put, aromas and tastes are best captured in alcohol and oil.

About the product: A unisex Southern summer garden inspired scent with notes of tomato leaf, lemon verbena, and magnolia in a creamy solid perfume base made from beeswax and meadowfoam seed oil for easy blendability. Travel friendly, daily pocket occupancy approved.
Tomato Vine is the smell of June in Virginia. Practically narcotic, spicy magnolia mingles with bright lemon verbena with notes of the herbaceous greens you can only get by touching tomato plants. If you know…you know.
So why does this smell so good? To be fair, we used plants to hack your brain. The scents captured in this solid perfume highlight elements of botanical compounds that nature uses to communicate to the surrounding world (and they keeps you coming back to smell again!).
To use: Apply to pulse points every three hours, or as desired. For external use only. Avoid eye contact. Discontinue if irritation occurs. Store in a cool dry place.
Compact: A soothing all metal ‘worry stone’ container with an engraved swivel top. Use a paperclip to eject the refillable tin when done and use the compact to hold pills, earrings, or order a future refill tin. Fully recyclable.
Measures 49.5 x 38.5 x 14 mm with a usable product of approximately 3 g.
